Novotrans buys Ust-Luga stevedore company Global-Servis
MOSCOW, Jun 21 (PRIME) -- Russian railway rolling stock operator Novotrans has acquired 100% in stevedore company Global-Servis located in the port of Ust-Luga under an asset diversification strategy, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Other details of the deal were not disclosed.
Global-Servis is a general agent of Rosmorport, the operator of most Russian sea ports, in the port of Ust-Luga. It operates the only cargo delivery line that transports cargoes from the Leningrad Region to the Kaliningrad Region and back without crossing any state borders. The company’s two ferries can transport up to 1.5 million tonnes of cargoes per year, and it also has car and railway cargo fronts, Novotrans said.
